I would like (if its possible) for someone to make a plugin that would make the pistons push entities/sand/gravel into the air like the old pistons. im new so dont get mad at me if i sound like a newb. please if this is possible reply and possibly make it. thanks, Slodominator
So you mean a server-side version of the current pistons mod which just changes the current pistons to behave like in the original pistons mod? Or do you mean that it should be independent of the client mod and have settings for the force of the launch, etc?
I would like it to be a server-side plugin that would make it so the vanilla pistons act like the old piston mod in which they launch entities into the air and gravity affected objects like sand/gravel. If it is possible maybe a config file for the launch height or other things but that would be only if your feeling nice or if its possible. thanks for the reply ahead of time
Try the attached plugin with this new version of CraftBukkit. I've only implemented player throwing. I don't think it is compatible with Bukkit 1000; I'm working on it.

Oops, sorry, debug code sneaked in. New version coming up, with 100% less spam and configurable launch force. Note that this is only a proof of concept; it would only launch up and won't launch sand or gravel. Oh, and by the way, the MorePhysics plugin claims that it can allow pistons to launch players. I haven't tested it, though.
