Hello! I run a small server for some friends. Yet in our central station redstone torches constantly disappear. Always the same. The guy who built it even placed glowstone blocks where they disappear with a wool beneath it for the direction it needs to face. Well, does anybody know what this causes? I use Bukkit 860. Plugins are: Backup, BigBrother, CookieMonster, SimpleChestLock, WeatherRestrictions, WorldEdit, Craftscripts, iConomy Permissions 2.7x and ProperTime. Help would be appreciated
This sentence confused me a bit...so ONLY redstone torches and glowstone blocks disappear when ANYONE places them?
Well sorry, that was to clarify that always the same torches disappear over and over. He placed those blocks to indicate the torches so that people who didn't build that circuit could replace them without knowing how everything works. EDIT: Now it happened again, without a server restart or mod reload. The torch goes on the glowstone above the orange wool. There's like 4 or 5 torches disappearing that way (as you can see in the background)
Okay now you are confusing me even more with your sentence structure. Just answer YES or NO to these questions. 1. Do all redstone torches in your world disappear? 2. Do only certain redstone torches in certain areas disappear? 3. Do the torches disappear when ANYONE places them?
I'm having the same issue with the portal song from here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qG9SPywEGm4 I imported that map into my SMP world, and random torches keep popping out so you can pick them up again. First they just seemed to disappear, but then I saw one or two tiny torches floating on the ground, so I figured they pop out and most of the time get removed for lying around for too long. This happens after a while, you have to walk away from the area that stuff is in and come back. Didn't really bother investigating more, I thought it was just too a complex construction.... But your circuit doesn't look to fancy, so no idea what's causing this for you.
Wait wait wait...when you say disappear, you mean they become unpowered? Or they really are just gone? Or they pop out as an item you can pick up?
I don't know if they pop out, nobody is near them. They are just gone, as seen on the picture above. We put a chest in the room with like 300 torches so that anybody can replace them when he wants to use the train station which is a bit of a pain because they vanish constantly.
