Bukkit nether ?

Hi, i just noticed that i had nether in my bukkit folder, does that mean nether comes wth bukkit now ? If so how can i access it ? Thanks

 

Make a portal just like in single player. Google it.

Along these same lines I'm having trouble with the nether as well.

I started a small vanilla server back during 1.4. When the 1.6 update went out I waited for the recommended build of Bukkit to come out before I tried my hand at it. Tonight I just transferred our server from the vanilla server to a Bukkit server. The world transferred fine and everything however the nether did not. I noticed that when I setup the Bukkit server it had it's own world folder as the fellow mentioned above. Is there a way for the nether from my vanilla server to transfer over? As far as I can tell there wasn't a separate world file for the nether and that it was contained within the main one.

Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks guys!

 

When did 1.4 vanilla have support for nether?

 

You main world file has a DIM-1 folder in it. That's your old nether.

 

Sorry to clarify, we didn't build a portal until 1.6, and then I didn't change from vanilla to Bukkit until there was a recommended build.
