/grant Plugin Needed!

Hey, I am the owner of a server called Galactico. I need a plugin that gives people ranks with /grant. I know that there already is a plugin for /grant

But it's not a great plugin because I need to give people ranks using the console, and this plugin doesn't let me do that. If you have a solution for me, please comment it, thank you!

Generally, if you are using a console based rank system I would recommend using a prexisting permissions plugin such as LuckPerms as it is well supported by the developer and works pretty well. The only issue I would see with this is that /grant is not a command. However, this could easily be remedied with a little work using a plugin like CustomCommands. https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/customcommands.14363/

Personally, I wouldnt think its worth the amount of time it would take to build a good permissions plugin from scratch just for the modification of one command. Although the source code is availible for the plugin meaning one could "copy paste" the code and just change the commandexecutor segments, which would be the fastest way (plagerism xD). The author does specify that you can only modify that code for non commercial purposes. I assume you wish to make some money of your server (donations or otherwise) meaning it would be commercial ruling out this option.

All in all, if its only the command change you want i would just use a custom command plugin like the one linked above with a reputable permission system. Alternatively if you do want an entire permission system built for your ideas you should follow the forums format.
