You can create an EXPConverter with /converter create while looking at the block you want to change to a converter. When you rightclick the block with a diamond, the diamond will be removed and you will get some exp (you can change the amount in config?) It also sends you a message. When failed: "&cYou need Diamonds to trade for EXP" (and you get hit but don't take damage to show people that it failed) When succes: "&aYou succesfully traded Diamonds for EXP" (Can the messages also be changed in config?) Ideas for commands: /converter create, /converter remove, /converter reload Ideas for permissions: converter.* (no permission needed to use the converters) When I'd like it by: Whenever you have time I'm sorry if I forgot to add any needed information!
@TerraFiX Your plugin request reminded me a lot of the Equivalent Exchange (EE) mod. EE implements a currency called EMC which is basically the root of everything. You can convert any item into EMC, and the EMC can be converted into different items. Of course something like dirt has a very low EMC value, while e.g. diamonds have a very high one. Well, I also thought EE for vanilla Minecraft would be a cool idea, so I started googling for a Bukkit plugin. This is what I found: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/alchemy.35506/ With this plugin you can convert items into mana and mana back into items of your choice. I mean it's not EXP, but maybe this helps you a bit.
@TerraFiX Should people be able to destroy a converter?
