Any information about the creativemode toolbar?

I recently saw a video explaining the new tab in creative inventories; saved toolbars.
Whenever you press a number while holding CTRL it will save your current toolbar to that number.
I'm wondering if anything from the toolbar feature (such as the message's placement whenever you save a toolbar) can be used in some sort of way serverside
