Plugin category: Spawning. Safety. Minecraft version: 1.12.2/1.13 Suggested name: Random Spawn What I want: I would like a simple plugin that would work on ALL future versions of minecraft that has a configurable file to spawn the player in a certain radius from a set amount of cordnants, with a blacklist to make players stop spawning on cactus, lava, water, the air, pressure plates and such. If they die in another dimension, I would like them to be teleported back to the over world, if they have a bed, falsify the random teleportation. I need this to work on first join and re-spawn from death when they don't have a bed set. Spawn was getting messy, and people were trapping each other at the spawn location at 0, 5, 0. Yea Ideas for commands: No commands needed for this plugin, unless it could be an op only command to force the player to random spawn for testing of the blacklist.. Ideas for permissions: None needed. When I'd like it by: Hopefully in 1-3 weeks. NOTE: ALL the other plugins do not work with the current version of Minecraft, do not random teleport in the first place, do not respawn the player in the overworld, Respawn the player at 0, 0 EVEN when they have a bed set, or have a command to do it, or is not configurable! I really need https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/random-spawn that plugin to be updated/remade for 1.12.2, since it worked great but stopped working in 1.11! Thanks!
@34486 I'll try to work on this, the features are simple enough. The thing is, 1.13 is not even out, and it's API is still subject to change. There is no way to be sure it will work on all future versions, since we can't predict what will change. I can try to make rely on code that can be modified later for future updates, but you can never verify that a plugin will always work for things that do not currently exist.
