Deathrun (Garry'sMod/Counter-Strike)

What I want: Players join the lobby and are able to vote on a map. Once the timer is over, they will be teleported and separated in to teams. One person get's death, the rest get runner. Both teams, Runners and Death, won't have any items.

Death will have a speed effect/potion on him allowing him to run fast only while the Runners are running. He pushes buttons (set to one time use per-game) that will remove blocks and trigger traps that will kill the Runners.

Once all the remaining Runners make it to the finish, Death's speed gets taken away and they are teleported to an arena which will have one final battle between Runners and Death.

Runners shouldn't be able to hit each-other (they are a team). upon a victory/win, the player/s will be rewarded with items [enchantments & names] with these four conditions.

Death_Win_Arena
Runner_Win
Runner_Win_Alone


Death_Win is when Death wins in the middle of a game.

Death_Win_Arena is when Death wins in the arena. This will cancel the Death_Win reward and will be rewarded some higher tier items.

Runner_Win is the group of Runners when they win.

Runner_Win_Alone is when a single Runner wins. This will cancel the Runner_Win reward and will be rewarded some higher tier items.

You should be able to create your own arena & maps.

Some optional features would be linking the buttons to platforms so they disable/disappear for a certain amount of time. Maybe triggers dispensers on and off for a short amount of time, etc.

You could also use an API.
Minigames API is a good example.

deathrun.join | Lets you join Deathrun.
deathrun.leave | Lets you leave Deathrun.
deathrun.kick | Kicks a player.
deathrun.votekick | Lets you vote to kick a player.
deathrun.create.map | Allows you access to /dr map [map-name] commands.
deathrun.create.arena | Allows you access to /dr arena [arena-name] commands.
deathrun.* | Gives you all permissions to Deathrun.

Almost a month later. Still looking for this plugin. I've been looking for it and all I find is a plugin where TNT chases you.

How would you make traps ? Will you do ít with commandblocks or do you want the plugin to to this for you to.. ?

 

There may be a plugin out there that lets you toggle blocks on and off. I know about the wireless red stone plugin as well. Maybe these are still functional. I'll do a little research when I wake up in the morning. One time use buttons are still a thing and should be reset after each round. If you feel like it would be more beneficial to include this functionality, then of course, go for it!
