Storms not working!

    Hey, whenever i try to do /weather storm 20 nothing happens! The world just turns a little dark but no rain appears. Anyone know whats going on?

    @Turtle123mlg You are using "/weather storm 20", try just "/weather storm"
    And hit f3, there should be a biome thing on the screen.

    Then it's rather obvious, it can't rain in a desert in minecraft.

    Might be possible using a bukkit plugin, although some NMS hackery would defiantly be required.

    EDIT: I did some investigation, and it turns out it's impossible to have it rain in the desert without client side modifications.
