Hello. I am a new Bukkit server owner, (although I have had numerous vanilla servers) and need help with placing blocks that only people I choose can break. Thanks!
@_Cthu_ Look into a permissions plugin and WorldGuard. A permissions plugin will say what a player can and can't do while WorldGuard will protect the blocks within an area. PermissionsEX is one I personally use, but I'm sure others will have opinions on what permissions plugin to use.
Simple, you will need to use WorldGuard and WorldEdit. You need to do //wand or get a wooden axe and then select an area, (Left click first pos right click second pos). To make it so it expands up and down do //expand vert then you are going to do /rg define <region-name>. Automatically it will deny all players from building or breaking except if they have operator permissions.
