A question. Not help.

Well, this puts me in an awkward situation. I'm usually the one to help. You see, I haven't been very caught up lately. I am just wondering how Bukkit is doing and if Bukkit is down for good...? Can't they just get the download page back up and running and start from scratch, or an older file? I really just truly want to know if they are done for good. Are we going downhill or are we going uphill? Staying in between? Thanks for reading.

Well the whole reason craftbukkit is down is due to the legal issues that regard the DCMA and Wolf(or Wolfe?). Bukkit is forced to take down the download page as the craftbukkit API has code in it that belongs to Wolf(or Wolfe again) so he has taken legal actions to make sure no one can use it but himself. Most likely our beloved Bukkit will not be down forever but it may be a long time before it will ever be released again. But of course if you look at the top sticky thread in the help forums you will see that you can get craftbukkit 1.8 from the link provided in that post if interested.

 

OTF Catastrophe I would just like to add that Bukkit has no plans to continue to update.
