When do you guys code at full potential?

First off I do not know if this is in the right section, but YOLOSWAGGINZ AM I RITE? no

Anyways, under what circumstances do you guys code the best? I personally work better under pressure late at night. Especially if it's a school night and it's like 1 am xD I don't know why but it gives me a sort of excitement and helps me get things done better. Share under what circustances you guys like to code down below! And sorry if this isn't the right section, heh.

I prefer coding at pretty much any time of the day - normally first thing when I get up since your mind is fresh, people aren't awake and you can focus on the task in hand.
Coding at night just wears me out and I end up falling asleep on my laptop -.-

 

I enjoy mostly when I am at school thinking of an idea for a plugin in my head then coming home to code it

Usually at weekends, when I don't have anything else planned. A day can easily consist of two hours minecraft playtime and twelve hours of coding.

 

when people are watching me code. i love showing off my work to people.

Also on a day when I had physics or maths last lesson in school, meaning my brain is still in gear for working out hard things, especially when I'm trying to write a physics engine from scratch, or something like a seamless Bukkit block populator management system which is compatible with every custom block populator I could possibly make (as long as no blocks go outside of the 3x3 chunk area centered around the chunk it starts in).

 

When I am at school and I have like free time and all, I like to start coding. Another time of the day which I would code is on the bus or at home when I have nothing else to do. So yes, I do feel bored pretty much the entire day.
Everyday when I go to school my friends tell me: "Gabe, stop hacking!", "Hacker!" or even "I'm gonna tell the teacher you are hacking.". I just laugh, because I don't even know if they understand the difference between programming/coding and hacking, which I wouldn't do in the first place. Everyday, when I'm on the bus, I like to code and listen to music. It's just really relaxing!

Awesome replies guys! I love to see you guys' preference. I would love to code at school, but I don't have a laptop that I would like to take to school. I have a like 2.5 year old hp laptop which is really slow and gets really hot. I might get a mac this December judt to be able to code at school. Any suggestions?

While I'm listening to music and or the person i'm making the plugin for (If applicable) is watching me do it, or pretty much anyone. I also think about stuff I'm going to code whilst in school and come home and do it, Sometimes if I get bored and have a way to solve an issue I've had with past plugins ill jot down some code inn my phone and save it same goes with good ideas I have!

 

Listening to music seems very popular, I will try that!
