Artificial Stress Testing

I want to know if there is a plugin (if its even possible) that can artificially stress test a server so that me the server admin can see its bottle necks?

 

I don't think that is possible trough a plugin, yet it is totally possible as an application that fakes clients. Though it would only test computer related aspects, to test the internet connection you would need to run it from computer connected trought other internet connection.

 

how would you fake the client? as I am dieing to stress test the server.

 

You would have to write them, the netcode is actually fairly well documented.
