    I want to found a message/motd plugin. Its a swedish swedish server and i need so i can use åäö. Are they exist a plugin like do that? Plz help!

    I think so. Surely it's in Minecraft's ASCII as the developers of the game are Swedish

    Minecraft supports Unicode, so you can basicly use every valid char.
    This support should be inherited by plugins by default.

    Minecraft only supports certain unicode characters as the FontRenderer doesn't know what to do with ALL of the unicode characters.

    Good to know. However, I've seen some weird shit with Unicode in MC, so I don't think there is a problem with special latain characters anymore. (In german ä, ö, ü and ß work as well)
