Attribute API

Hey guys. Just wondering, first of all has the Attribute API come out yet? If so, where is it located. If not where do you think it would be located?

If nobody knows that's Ok I just thought I would ask because I was looking around through the latest builds and didn't see anything.

 

No, there's no official API for it yet, but you can still do it if you depend on CraftBukkit or ProtocolLib:

It's probably easiest to just depend on CraftBukkit 1.6.2:

Though, keep in mind that you must use the latest version of CB for this to work in creative mode.

 

Rather than creating a new post, I'll just bump this one. Is the Attributes API ever coming? It is such a useful feature that is just going to waste.

Ya I was thinking about bumping this, too. As I did not see any note of it.

I submitted a PR for some Attribute support but it was declined. Kinda deterred me submitting my full Attribute API as it seemed like they would rather just write it themselves. However, they have marked it as a low priority so I wouldn't count on it coming anytime soon.

 

I've been gone a while, so did this ever come out?
