Plugin category: Fun Suggested name: Minigame Spectating What I want: I want a plugin that lets a person spectate a minigame with fly capabilities and be invisible. So there would be a sign to spectate. 1st line: [spectate] 2nd line: <region name> 3rd line: blank 4th line: blank I want you to be able to mark a region with world edit that a person can fly in. The person cannot fly outside of the region. With a compass teleport to the closest person when he left or right clicks it. while this person is spectating he/she cannot break or place blocks and cannot talk. Then he/she would type in a command he would go back to the original sign that he clicked to start spectating. Ideas for commands: /spectate stop /spectate join <region name> /spectate reload Ideas for permissions: spectate.join.sign spectate.join.command spectate.stop spectate.reload When I'd like it by: as soon as possible but don't rush bump bump
Or spectate.join.(RegionName) (for better customization) Maybe the problem is people think this is too hard to do, or at least too time consuming, But I myself have wanted a plugin like this for a while now.
15987632 Hm. You mean any mini game? If so, you would have to hook into every minigame you wan't (By *you* I mean the plugin, the code) to ensure that things couldn't go wrong. But, there could be some jumping the fence shortcuts. I could create this pretty easily, except for the region. Theres different region for different plugins, sooooo....
JPG2000 i like that you are taking interest in this project . However i thing you have overlook one tiny thing. You dont use the same region as the minigame. You make a custom region that the spectators fly in. I thought of it like this so it wouldn't interfere with any minigames.
15987632 Ah, I didn't see that. Its a bit larger then I would want. To be honest, I rather not do this since I have other projects. This isn't that big, so most likely another developer could do this.
That is probably why you needed to PM him, more people do that, it is not forbidden ( not saying that it is a nice thing to do either )
Sorry i though it was against the rules and went with the monetary offers thing but i guess i am wrong.
Monetary offers are disallowed in any shape or form. if a user PMs you and requests you to pay them money for a plugin, report them.
