Random Server Crashes (

Randomly when I am playing, the server comes up with a bunch of severe errors. This causes everyone to lag (basically disconnected, but client is open) and then it kicks everyone from the server. After this it waits a little bit and then the server goes back up! I have no idea what is causing this and it only has happened since I updated to 1.6.2!

It happens every 5-10 minutes and it is horrible! I have ran minecraft servers before, but up to this point have never had this error!

However, it is for 1.6.2 and you aren't allowed to report a bug! It was announced when the dev builds came out!

Alright. Hold off until a more stable build, and if it still happens, consider it.

 

Still unsolved if anyone has tips or has encounterd this themselves please help!

I have a friend which got this on v1.5.2 as well. Not sure if he is still getting it.

 

schmidt73 - Did you troubleshoot plugins? Does it still do this with nothing loaded?

 

Is nothing to worry about. That's a client pinging your server from the server list. If you get disconnect.endOfStream errors, however, that is something to be concerned about.
