End of Stream Disconnects Client?

Hello I just recently added 1.6.1 to my test server and updated all plugins. When I run the server my console is clean, no errors. Now when I join the server I don't stay on for more than 1 second before it kicks me and brings up a message on my client saying "End of Stream" and i've tried logging on multiple times in multiple ways but to no avail. My client is the latest update and so is the craftbukkit. I would like to update my actual server but i'm almost afraid to because if no one can join then whats the point lol I do realize it's a DEV build and the team is working diligently on pumping out more updates but when is the estimation on this major bug being fixed?

I am having the same problem. I'm downloading the minecraft server to have something to run in the meantime.

On a side note, I suddenly started getting End of Stream Errors too. I found I had 2 launchers open and was logging in 'Offline'. Check that only 1 launcher is running and that you are playing 'Online'.
