Hello, I've searched for a plugin like this but have been unable to find any that are anywhere near up to date. Way back in the day, I would sit in a chat room in Warcraft 3 and just answer trivia in between ladder matches for hours on end. It's a simple, fun and sometimes competitive feature that I would love to have on a Minecraft server. The concept of the plugin would be simple: A trivia plugin that, when activated, will ask a number of questions and reward the first player to answer correctly. I'm certainly not a plugin developer, but I've compiled a list of features that I think should be included: 1. Specify a list of trivia questions and acceptable answers ie; What did zombies originally drop? Acceptable answers: answers: feather; feathers 2. Specify the length of time a question (or all questions) will last, whether or not hints will be given, and how many points it awards. ie; questions last for 25 seconds, hint given every 5 seconds, awards 1 point hint would look like this: f_______ , f_a__h___, fea_h__rs, etc 3. Specify the length of time (or number of questions) that the trivia will run ie; /trivia start questions 20 /trivia start minutes 5 4. Permissions for who can answer questions, and who can start or stop the trivia 5. A point system for correctly answering questions, and appropriate and customizable notifications ie; Piginabag is correct! The answer is: feather (Piginabag has answered 5 questions in a row!) (You answered in 5.69 seconds!) Piginabag scored 1 point for a total of 48 points.
I can get started on this. Can you make up a sample config file with 2 questions as a template of what you want?
