Plugins interfering with command blocks

Ok we run a mostly vanilla server and as command blocks are within the 'vanilla' game

my problem is this i have a button connected to 2 command blocks:
/xp -30L @p[lm=30]
/give @p[lm=30] 278 1

now on one server i host this works
on the new one it does not can anyone tell me why

if this helps you... when i type in /xp 30l rebzo1 it tells me what i have and what xp i need to level up.

so it would seem a plugin is getting in the way of the command to -30l i have looked through but im kinda new to the plugins on this second server.

dude the last time i came on here asking for help i went days without any reply and waited only minutes for a reply on minecraft forums. So forgive me if i lose faith in the bukkit community and its ability to help other people.

2 of us went thru essentials and couldnt find where the conflict is

so 'issue is essentials' doesn't help me at all

how about u go suck a lemon and spam some1 elses thread

back on topic, we had already figured out that essentials was the issue..
our problem is stopping it without switching from essentials to something else.

The /xp command is an alias to the /exp command in essentials.

If you open the Essentials.jar you can edit the plugin.yml file and remove the /xp alias there.

RebzO1 as in, notified developers, should be on todo for next reco.

 

similar kind of issue we have multiverse and try to use /mv create games flat
and its not a valid world we can only use the default

is there a way to fix this
