I'm pretty new to running a server, and recently discovered the hard way that testing new plugins on my server directly is a bad idea, so I've started testing them on an isolated copy of my main server. I've tested and configured the new plugin on the copy, and thus comes my question - are there any reasons i can't copy all the config files from the test server to the real one? I basically want to shut down the real server, copy the plugin file into the main server and rather than letting it generate its own config folder, copy the folder containing all of the config files from the test server. Is that ok?
