What it should do: When a player enters a designated area/ cuboid, it will teleport a player to a certain location. While you are in that specified location, it will countdown every X minutes(send user a message every X minute about time left) and take you to a second point when the countdown ends. The countdown will last for configurable minute per portal. If user logs out before they are teleported out, it will teleport the player next to the entrance portal. Portals can be configed to cost either X amount of money or a "ticket" which is a written book with a certain title and user
This seems possible, and quite cool too! Could you however specify on the portals bit? First you were speaking of a specific area or cuboid, and then you went on with portals. Could you maybe explain or even show me what you mean with a screenshot for instance? I'd be willing to help you out, but I need more precisions

Thank you for your consideration The portal: You can select a cuboid as a "entrance portal" so when a player steps into that cuboid, they will be teleported into the first spot. You can define another cuboid as the "area" where the user will stay in, and as long as they stay within that portal, they will recieve a message every X(configurable) minutes telling you how much time is left. Each entrance portal will have different countdowns(how long user has to be in the area), even if they end up in same area cuboid, and more than one player may be in a area cuboid at once and have different countdowns (if possible). When the countdown ends, it will teleport the user to a defined exit point which will be defined for each entrance portal I hope that made it a bit more clear, if it didn't I can explain specific bits that you ask are confused about
You can get VariableTriggers plugin and create some areas and some triggers that will do this. Plus once you get the hang of it you will be using it to do all kinds of things you never imagined could be done without writing a completly new plugin. You can actually make your server uniqe from all the others out there.

Using the VariableTriggers plugin should let you do this however I'm not sure about countdowns. In any case, it's a really nice idea. I can try to get you something however this not being a really simple plugin (it could take me an hour or two) I might need a few days' time due to my busy schedule. If anyone else wants to help out and manages to make something before I do please do
