Look, I'm running a desert survival server. I don't know how this happened since I only have one other op and two moderators. My server is in online mode. My permissions are configured correctly. I'm using NoCheat+. What the hell. Spawn. BEFORE AFTER I don't understand.
Did you installed any other plugins, or used World Edit? It looks like chunk error, or someone having fun with World Edit.
The columns were previously made of lava and the whole was originally a huge lava cube. Someone having fun with WEdit is definitely the cause, but I want to know how, when I have two moderators that can't use it, and one op who's a very good friend of mine, and we work on everything together.
So what we have learned from this is that someone has used WorldEdit by the following means. a) They were already an operator or had access to WorldEdit before griefing the server and the log was cleared by other means. b) They gained access to the servers control panel and OP'd themselves through there, prior to deleting the server.log to cover their tracks. But which one, and how...
It's only your own fault We can't help you any more cause this topic is not supposed to help you discover the Grieffer.
This topic is trying to find the loophole that whoever used it used to grief the server, so stop trying to hone your moderator skills for when bukkit accepts you in 3 years, and accept the topic for what it is. My question is "Where should I look to cover up my security loop hole if everything appears to be coded properly based on the information that I have provided." Not. "halp me been grieffed need buckets come find hm fr me". So can we get back on topic, please.
Locked. You're not using CraftBukkit. Go to the people you got the server from if you need help. 2012-09-25 04:11:17 [INFO] CraftBukkit++ for Minecraft 1.3.1 is initializing
