I jailed someone using essentials jails and now I can't reverse it

Exactly as the title states, I jailed a person using essentials, testing the command, and now it will not let me \unjail them.

when i type /unjail <player> it tell me to specify the jail. I have 3 jails (left, right, default) and when i specify any of the jails, it doesn't work.

I have also tried deleting the essentials plugin completely and it still won't unjail them

multiverse

pluginmetrics
voxelsniper
worldedit
worldguard

go to essentials folder in the plugins folder, open it then open the user data folder, find the user open the file then delete the jail info or if that doesnt work delete the entire user file, not the folder but the individuals user file.

then download simplejail from bukkit dev and dont use essentials jail.

 

i tried that, but didn't fix it, i figured it must be a different plugin holding it, so i just made up commands. /free, /freedom, /dejail, until i tried /release which worked like a charm. I have no idea which plugin it was, but I am going to try simplejail from now on :-p

 

cant find which of your plugins has jailed him, but this isnt an essentials problem, since you didnt jail using essentials in the first place. to jail someone, you do /tjail playername jailname, and to release them, /tjail playername.

 

did you just try /jail <player>

unlike most plugin essentials /jail is a toggle.
so /jail <player> <jail> to go in
/jail <player> to get out
and /release isn't an essentials command

 

it's /togglejail <player>

 

The plugin that /release is connected to is SimpleSpawn. It is used to /sethome and stuff like that.
