Hey so i have a hunger games server and i am asking if anybody can make a plugin that when u are searching for players and u dont know were they are so u can just right click your compass and the compass points to the nearest player and in the chat it says Player Found: {name} The reason why i want this plugin is because i dont want the games to go on forever so i want this to help them. Thank You Whoever Can Do It!
I have not seen a plugin like this before, but it's not a bad idea. BUT, Essentials already has this feature, just not in the form of a compass. Your players will just need the essentials.nearby permission and then they may type /nearby and it will list nearby players as well as how many blocks away they are.
My plugin can do this: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/vitals-plugin/ The feature is called UsefulCompass, if enabled it makes compasses ALWAYS point at the nearest player. Every feature in my plugin is disabled by default, you enable just the ones you want, so even though it does many different thing if all you want is UsefulCompass then just enable that one and that's all it'll do.
I think he wants a plugin that when You hit the ground with a compass, shows the nearest person near you, and also tells you who it is. Bump. I would L0VE this plugin EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
Make it so when the player hits the ground with a compass it gives them the permission to use UsefulCompass.
