People can't break blocks.

Please help me. I don't know what I did wrong, because it was working awhile ago but now it's not working. Only OP's can.

Could you list your server's plugins for me? Sounds like the people who can't build don't have proper permissions. Also, you should open up a seperate thread for getting Group Manager prefixes to work.

 

Idk what the hell to do in the permissions file so I left it blank, thats probably the problem.

requires permissions.
You need to give ppl permission to build - modifyworld.*

 

That could easily be your problem. You should set up your server's permissions yourself; check http://ess.khhq.net/wiki/Group_Manager#Permissions_nodes for help doing so, or open another help thread if you absolutely need to.

Do you know where i could find a list of the permissions nodes that i need so i dont have to white it all down

Usually permissions nodes are on a plugin's website, wiki, etc. I normally google <pluginName> permission nodes or <pluginName> permissions. You can copy and paste them to a file, then use them later on. The descriptions are usually along with the permission nodes. A lot of the time a link is posted on the plugin's Bukkit page.

(If anyone reads this and knows a better way to do it, I'm sure we would both appreciate it )

You could do that if you don't want ModifyWorld, but instead you can disable it from it's config file.

 

I had a weird glitch where nobody could build in a certain area, and that was the exact area where I started my skyscraper, so nobody could help me. (But it was good cause nobody could destroy it )

 

But still, what does ModifyWorld do? and I did delete it and then everyone could Talk and stuff

but they couldnt break or place blocks still. I have to /manpromote <PlayerName> Admin for it to work.

are your builders groups set build: true?

 

how come no one hasnt noticed that he doesnt HAVE PEX

 

pex doesn't have build: true so at least one of us has.

remove plugins chatmanager and modifyword: no PEX.

remove plugin setrankPB: no permissionsbukkit.

remove homespawnplus, justwarp, jwarp, stixcommands: useless since you already have essentials.

as for problems, removing modifyworld should work, if its version 1.19.3, due to modifyworld bug.

as for rank name, set prefix.

also, if you are using bukkit version for 1.3.1, update GM and essentials to devbuild, and disable factions chat hook.
