Plugin Category: Mechanical and Role-Playing Suggested Name: Time Out 2 What I Want: In my opinion, the absolute best deahban plugin was TimeOut: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/timeout/ Sadly, they discontinued it, it does not say inactive, but it has not been updated since Nov. 16, 2011. I would like someone to recreate this plugin, only make it better than it was before. For example, one drawback of TimeOut was the fact that it only could set bans based on days, so if you only wanted to tempban your players for 15 minutes, you couldn't. The shortest amount of time possible was 1 day sadly. Another thing I would find amazing would be the ability to create "Death Classes." what I mean by this is that perhaps we could create "Classes" similar to Essentials Kits, where instead of people witht hat class being banned for the default time (ex. 1 day), they're time would be 5 hours. People could have this class by either a permission or command. I prefer permission. Example layout for "Death Classes" Group Name: VIP Ban Time: 5h Message: Thank you for purchasing VIP %player%! Lucky for you, you can access %server% in %ubantime% instead of 1 day like Defaults! Group Name: MVP Ban Time: 0 Ideas for Commands: Pre-existing commands in TimeOut (Yes I mean all of them) Ideas for Permissions: Pre-Existing + timeout.class.[class-name] When I'd Like it by: Aug 3-4, 2012
I will work on updating this plugin, albeit under a different name. It probably won't be done by today/tomorrow, but it should definitely take less than a week. I'll first work on making the plugin like the original TimeOut (plus allowing less than 1 day ban time), then I will work on adding the "Death Classes" you have requested. I will create a BukkitDev page for it as well when I have made some progress on it.
