Enable Essentials blacklist?

I don't understand how you enable the item-breaking and placing blacklist in the Essentials config file. How do I enable it?

I have a feeling that this question is incredibly stupid and obvious, but I hope someone's yet willing to help me...

 

Delete the #'s.

Too bad I just effed up my Essentials config when trying to do this.

 

Don't remove the #'s

 

I just found this out:
For the default admin group, they have inheritance of g:essentials_admin. and that gives them permission to essentials.*. This just nullifies the effect of blacklist. So, modify the global group, or remove the enheritance
