Plugin: WorldBorder http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/me...ch-world-size-limiting-plugin-1-2-4-r1.11309/ About me: I've been running this plugin for a while and it works great, but it's missing one feature that would make it even better for my use. I'm just a guy who runs a server, 10-20 average users. What I want: Essentially, this plugin limits all of the players on the server within a certain number of blocks from spawn. What I'd like is to be able to have it so that players with "OP" status can pass freely outside the border. In other words, the border only applies to those who are not OPs. Ideas for commands: Probably doesn't need any commands, just some option in the config file. When i'd like it by: Whenver. I wouldn't ask someone who was doing me a favor to rush it. It seems like this is a relatively simple modification, so I hope i'm not asking too much by posting this =) Any questions/etc would be appreciated Instead of just OPs... it would be ideal if you could just list player's names, and those players would be able to walk past the border.. Bump, would be very nice if someone could comment on this EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
Good morning I don't want to have to go teach myself Java to do this myself =( EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
It's a 2 line change to check if the player is an op and I've already told you where the changes need to happen. If you tried to learn Java instead of quintuple posting, you could be done by now.
Took all of a few minutes, here you go: <Edit by Moderator: Redacted mediafire url> The jar will generate an extra file for account names to go in. This is CaSe SeNsItIvE so make sure you know the exact names of the players you wish to be allowed to pass. I am not making this an official plugin since that would just be stealing Brett Flan's hard work and calling it mine. If there is an error in file creation, first try to reload the server. If failure persists, please post back here!
A much easier solution to this would be to use worldguard. Define the area that people are not allowed to leave, set the flag "exit" (I think) and you are done. Give the proper permission nodes or add them as members/owners and they can leave.
