Plugin category: Mining Suggested name: SpeedyOreMiner, SpeedyOre, SpeedyVein What I want: I am looking for a simple bukkit plugin that allows all the ore in a vein to be mined at once by harvesting only a single block in that vein. This would effectively work similarly to the "Timber" plugin, which harvests an entire tree by breaking only the bottom wood block. Perhaps some kind of system in which the mod searches for x radius (say 5 blocks) around the ore you mine, harvests all of it, and gives the items to the player. I would imagine that it would mine only the same ore that you specified, not all ores nearby. It would have to be done with a pickaxe, and have no other effect than to break the surrounding ore blocks and deliver them directly to the player. Since I imagine this to be used only for a convenience "Time-saver," it would not need to modify anything about the game besides the automatic mining of adjacent (or simply nearby) ore blocks (or at least have options that the server admin can change to fit his or her needs). (I myself would use such a mod as a supplement to vanilla minecraft, along with the timber mod.) Also note, the "Fortune" enchantment affects drops from diamond, lapis lazuli, redstone, coal, emerald, and quartz ore blocks, so the drops provided by the mod would need to be adjusted as such. Any and all consideration for making this plugin a reality is greatly appreciated. Ideas for commands: No commands needed for this plugin. Possibility of configuration by server admin, similar to how Timber works. When I'd like it by: As soon as possible, but Minecraft isn't going anywhere.

Badspler Custom plugins really aren't the way to go on the forums. Please post a download link or make a project on bukkidev if you haven't already.
Honestly he doesn't have to make it public if he doesn't want to. If he creates it, then he can do whatever he likes with it, despite what others think.
GreySwordz First of all that as RingOfStorms states if I make it I can do as I please; although I do plan to upload my plugins to bukkitdev and make it downloadable for all. The requirements are to not request a personal plugin. Personally I like to PM my plugins with downloads to the person I made it for detailing some of the choices I made when completing the plugin with the commands and anything that was out of place or I slightly changed from there specified request. I do this so that if they want anything changed they can ask or suggest improvements. Later ill put it on bukkitdev. This is mostly because there is either a few things I still need to fix or things I want to personally improve before making it public. If you want a copy of the plugin just ask. Ill post it publicly when I want to, when I feel its ready and when I have time to do so
