I have an I idea for a plugin called "Your Life!" It should be able to tell the daily news, (configurable in the format below) Server Events, (such as Hunger Games, Parkour, or Spleef games) an auto announcer (configurable in YAML file), and a weekly weather forecaster (Control weather and in YAML file, going by ticks in the world).

The fully configurable Daily Life plugin!​

The goal of Your Life! is to add a more predictable future for your server by adding configurable Events, Weather, Daily News, and Announcements (see YAML below for example!)​

The news and announcer can already be accomplished with existing plugins...

 

I have yet to find a plugin that allows for this all in one package or make use of the weather forecaster

 

Why does it need to be in one 'package'? It doesn't seem like these are that connected except for the command name, /yourlife.

Sometimes you have to deal with something that isn't 100% perfect; that's life. Unless there's a developer who's willing to recreate something that has been done multiple times before, you're probably out of luck for those two features.

 

It's a pretty good idea, but I don't know if you need that many days of weather at a glance. It will probably take up too much of your page.

 

Why do you want the whole damn plugin to be coded when you can just get 3 plugins that do the same thing, announcer, weatherman... yep that's it only 2 plugins.

Oh you just want Weather forecasts and news? ANNOUNCER 1 PLUGIN. I'm sorry but you look like you're being spoon-fed right now, maybe if you looked around you could actually find it.

As TrevIzSick said, we are not your personal servants. There are already plugins that do this. No need for us to waste our time coding something that's already been done.

 

Look at your signature.... Simple fly? Already done with essentials. Jail Like Hell? Dozens of other plugins like it. I am looking for an All-in-ONE! plugin.

 

Not everyone wants essentials.

Not everyone wants SimpleJail, Essentials(InBuilt Jail) or any other Jail plugin

 

And not everyone wants to use 3 separate plugins now do they -_-

 

For one, many people don't want to install a gigantic plugin with features that they don't need. SimpleFly offers a simpler alternative than a giant all-in-one plugin.
JailLikeHell also has different features that makes it unique. Lightning effects for instance. No need to attack me just because you're too lazy to set up 2-3 plugins.
Why should we code a all-in-one plugin just for you? There are already plugins that do what you've asked. No more, no less.

Not everyone has the time to code a brand-new plugin with features that already have been made.
Also, my apologies that I voted "no" in the poll. I should have voted yes; this is a goof idea.
