So I recently discovered that PermissionsBukkit was not the preferred permissions plugin, and I decided to change. So I began writing in my groups. However, I noticed my entries turning red.

I have no idea why this is happening. I cannot add lines to anything. All new lines turn red. They look fine to me, I'm not sure why that happens.

Is the file set to read-only?

Also, can you use pastebin to give us the config you have there?

I found if I use spaces instead of the tab key it works fine. Is this what you guys do?

OH, if that's the case, open up NP++, go to Settings - Preferences.
On the "Language Menu/Tab Settings" tab you will see a thing to change how it saves tabs.

YAML doesn't support tabs, so you can set the tab size to 4 in this window and then click on the "Replace by space" toggle. This will let you use tab to edit, but will ensure it only SAVES the file with spaces instead.
