XP orbs

I saw in bukkit build 1171-1173 they did something with XP orbs... Im too afraid to update my server again as the last couple bukkit 1.8 updates messed it up till 1160.

Any know what they did with the XP orbs? I wish they compiled their comments in the change log but its always empty or filled with coder talk, which I cant speak.

 

why not make a backup of your server and try it

been running 1.8 on vanilla and went to bukkit as soon builds came out, havent got any orb probs since first bukkit build

 

I've been having orb problems with bukkit builds up to #1160 when I installed the orbremoval plugin. Its tempting to copy the folder and start another server up on a different port... but eh... the orbremoval plugin is working... So I just dont want to go thru that hassle unless I know more.

 

#1178 works fine with orbs

It just drops around 12 orbs if u die (not 500 and more as before)... Doenst matter how much u gained before...
No more lags here

EDIT: And i didnt installed EXP or ORB Plugins

 

yes he has also added the code required for plugins to be able to turn orbs on and off at will
