I am currently hosting a private server for my friends, we accidentally blew up a massive portion of the world we are stationed at. I have world edit downloaded/installed on the server and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to setup the snapshot/backup configuration. Luckily I backed up the server the day before, so I want to reset this particular section back to the way it was "naturally". How do I/Where do I make/put the world backup so that I can use that for snapshot? *I've looked at the World Edit wiki and just dont understand why I get the message, "Snapshot/backup restore is not configured."
http://wiki.sk89q.com/wiki/WorldEdit/Snapshots Looks like you need to set the directory key "snapshots.directory" in the world edit config to whatever directory you are putting your backups in. If this doesn't work post a pastebin of your config.
