Question Wondering how to make Prefix Variants a thing.

I am running a towny server and I would like to be able to add some cosmetics to the game. I would like for a player to be able to gain the permission to change their prefix based on their rank or the donator status. I have tried a few different ways and I am considering trying to make a deluxemenu that has a list of their prefixs. Any thoughts?
