Windows - Linux Question

    Hello everyone;

    I'm looking to take the next step in improving my server by moving it from a windows machine to a dedicated Linux server.

    However, I'm not quite sure how to go about doing this; Do I have to make any changes to the server when moving it onto this new operating system? Or will I just have to plop it right in and everything will work fine?

    If anyone has experience doing something like this, I'd really appreciate any help/advice you can give me.
