Solved Will an outdated plugin still work?

Regarding one of the sticky threads, I assume I do not need to tell you what my OS is or anything like that. Anyways, I am running craftbukkit 1.3.1 R1.0 and I want to continue using some of my plugins. However they haven't updated to the version of craftbukkit I'm running. Will they still work?

 

depends on what are they. list the plugins.

 

Try it and find out? It's the best way, just do a quick backup before hand if you're worried about data loss or corruption.

Without saying what plugins you use, how is anyone going to know if it will work of not from their own experience?

Generally though, most plugins I've used do still work even though they're recommended for maybe 1.2.5 or an older version.

But just try yourself, it's painless and takes maybe 2mins.

 

I just tested it. They work. I didn't have access to my computer that runs the server earlier so I just wanted to know if they would work ahead of time. Thanks anyways.
