Why is this causing lag?

This is causing the [WARNING] Can't keep up message in my console. Is there anything I can do about it besides get rid of the farm? I really want to keep it

 

That message honestly doesn't mean much, unless it's truly lagging your server then you're fine. Otherwise you need more ram.

 

So RAM is pretty much all I can do? I might be able to upgrade. As long as I'm around the sheep, the warning message spams and FPS drops.

 

You could try some plugins like NoLagg and Ptweaks.

 

Thanks for the reply. If ram would truly help, I can upgrade. Don't those plugins completely get rid of mobs though? I want to keep the mobs. Hmm

Ok, I'll try it out. One more question, so more RAM is able to reduce lag caused by mobs and other entities? I thought the processor was more important.

 

RAM is like memory, the more memory you have the less it will lag.
