Why "Grilled" Pork?

I'm working on a food plugin and I found something that struck me as odd.
Cooked Pork's Material ENUM name is "Grilled Pork" and it's uncooked material is just "Pork"
This is unlike fish, beef, and chicken which all follow either being "Cooked x" or "Raw x"
Is there any reason for this?

The values of the enums are just a choice of the programmers.

I believe cooked porkchops were implemented before any of the other cooked foods in minecraft with the original name of grilled pork which would explain why it is called that in the first place in the enum (if not then it would just have been the preference of the programmer that originally coded the Material enum). They can't change it to better match the current naming convention because it would break any plugin that uses that constant.

Cooked Porkchop (also known as Grilled Pork)

Other materials have weird names, like the lead being called a leash. It was originally going to be called a leash, but I believe somebody(Dinnerbone?) pointed out to jeb that "lead" made more sense, so it was renamed lead. In the code, however, it is still a leash.
