What is wrong with my PermissionsEX permissions?

    Do you mean the server.log file? I can't access the server.log file now but i can send it to you tomorrow.

    Latest.log, server log, the one that has the last modification.

    Yeah, I don't see edits, you need to post about it when you do it.

    So, is there like a reason it isn't working? And also, when I type /pex group Owner add Shqxin it says I don't have permission. When I add the rank to myself from the console, it doesn't show that I have the rank in game too. Please help someone!

    Can it be something about the version of the plugin? I use 1.7.10 for my server.

    Define "is not working".
    You don't have permissions to add yourself to the top group, even with OP, PEX ignores that.
    You need to set Owner with the console.
    And it isn't showing because ChatEx needs to be redownload.

    By "not working", I mean that when I add myself to Owner on console, it doesn't give me the permissions.

    Then please post your new permission.yml using https://pastebin.com
    Make sure to not remove anything.

    I don't know what happened at the top but that is wrong.
    And I don't see anybody added to Owner.
    Where is this permission.yml located on your server?

    The permisions.yml is located in the PermissionsEX folder, next to the config file. Ignore the top, it is the same as the one before.

    Stop the server, start it, set yourself in the Owner group, stop the server, post the new log here.

    BTW, the only reason I got this rank is because I typed it out myself, is there anyway for it to create the rank for the person itself without going into permissions.yml?

    The commands don't create it itself, I do /pex group CoOwner add Shqxin and it doesn't work, am I typing the command wrong?

    When i download chatex for 1.7, it says that it'll automatically update to the 1.11 version, how do I stop this?

    There is an update folder in your plugins directory, there is a config in there, change the value there.
