Well everytime i install this plugin i have problems with him.. I just bought a host with dedicated IP address and downloaded votifier. I was following tutorial on youtube and its not working. I setup a voting on PlanetMinecraft and i checked the connection everything was fine with them. Then i gave the link to my friend he voted and its not giving him anything. No items or broadcast nothing. What should i do? EDIT: Also nothing shows up in the console..
@Petrov2g Have you installed a listener? If so, where did you put it? If not, you'll have to find one Also, could you link the video?
@Petrov2g You did put the listener the same place as him on the video? (not inside the "listeners" folder inside Votifier) Have you changed the port to a random 4 digit number?
@Petrov2g Check what info you've put in on whatever page it was, see if the "enable votifier" checkbox is checked. Check if you have the right version of the listener for your server. What is GFA? Do you mean GAL? I can't seem to find GFA. Are you using the dedicated IP as votifier IP? Don't do that.
@Petrov2g Lets say your IP is this; serverip.com Are you using that IP inside your votifier config? (Not the example one of course)
@yPedx yes i use that IP here is the config host: 489.481.125.10 (My server ip.... (here is just random numbers) port: 3654 debug: false listener_folder: plugins/Votifier/listeners
@Petrov2g The port might already be in use, try change it. Appearently not :/ What I mean is; You're using serverip.com Not the numbers like; 333.333.333.22 Just don't change the adress. (let it be the numbers) EDIT: or do you mean you changed the adress in the config to random numbers when you posted it?
@yPedx By default was 0.0.0.0 then i changed to my server ip In the config i gave i wrote random numbers
Does your server host support multiple ports? Some server hosts allow buyers to have atleast 2-4 extra ports if you have them try changing it to another one of your ports.
So your saying that your host lets you choose any 4 numbers to use as your port ? If so who is your host that doesn't sound right.
