   I wonder is it bad to set view distance to low for a bukkit server? for example 5 can that make lag or is it just god for the server or it dont have effect at all to set it low?

   Actually, it should give less lag.
   Since less chunks are loaded, it will lessen the load on the server.
   
   Or at least, should.

   I generally like to keep it at 8, but if you are having a lot of issues with performance then you can go as low as 3. Generally, the lower the better
