Using the Bukkit Command Line Logging options?

When you look at this commit https://github.com/Bukkit/CraftBukkit/commit/c453c919f7abf8394cd13534091ec1180c483069 you see the added logging options.

I am wondering - how do I actually call upon them? Add them to the startup line somewhere behind -jar ?
