I always used TAB to fill in playernames when typing in chat. But now it seems like it does not work at times.
Is this function been removed, or could it be something else glitching it out?

Do you use colored tab list? But I seem to also have this problem where it don't work first time and you have to,press tab like 3 or 4 times :/ 1.3.1 I think is the issue for this one :D

Colored names are know to mess with the tab names.

    Example:
instead of doing the normal "J" TAB "John"
You would have to add the color code then the first letter "@red@J" TAB "John"

If you would like the TAB feature back your best bet is to remove the colored names.

(Not sure if red@ is the correct code for color but its just for an example soo...)

Well for plugins it's not a code you set the chat color with ChatColor.RED you can't type it in game not physically type the red you can type such as &2 but that's a chat plugin converting the color codes :D

First off it was an example to demonstrate the problem like I said "it might not be the correct code."

Second the problem is the color chat plugin just remove an you can have TAB back.

Luke I dont need correcting so thanks anyways.

It does not have anything to do with the color.. Its the 1.3.1 release.. Craftbukkit, or Minecraft itself..
