Using config.yml

I want to make some plugins that will need a configuration, and I'm new to Java, so how would you say that I should go about creating/reading/processing the config.yml file? I'm sorry to post such a small amount of information, I'm not sure what more I could give you. I'd also like to know how I should go about storing things in a database-ish way without using SQL, as I want it to be lightweight.

Bukkit has .yml parsing built into it; I didn't know this myself until a few weeks ago.

 

Great, is there a plugin that I could look at the source for and see how to use it? One of your plugins, perhaps. I'll check it out now.
