Hi all. I'm having a small server with some friends and we use bukkit in combination with some additional plugins like multiverse, essentials etc. Now I was browsing through new plugins and this question came into mind: If a plugin says its compatible with 1.7.9, is it also compatible with 1.7.5 then or do I have to upgrade to 1.7.9? And is there any efficient way of checking whether your plugins are compatible with newer bukkit versions without looking them up one by one? Thanks!
Well it depends. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Theres plugins that are 2-3 years old and still work. But then you have plugins that if they're just one update early they won't work. Wont hurt to check. But most plugins that are 1.7.9 would work on 1.7.5 and 1.7.2.
