   I'm having problems with this error showing up in the console, I compiled with 1.8 and still the same error.
   At this point I'm not sure what to do.
   
   java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: core/Main has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 53.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 52.0

   I have already changed my Eclipse settings to compile with Java 8 and the problem has been persisting.
   this didn't fix my problem
