Plugin Help Unbreakable not working as it should

When I mine with an unbreaking 1000 pickaxe it breaks very fast
How can i fix this? on other servers an unbreakable 20 pick lasts forever :/

 

@ricke9984 Unbreaking does not represent a fixed value of durability, but rather the odds that the pickaxe will take damage. Therefore, if your luck is shit, you could theoretically break the pickaxe at normal speed. What you can do in 1.8 is just add the tag 'Unbreakable' to the pickaxe, which causes it to never take damage ever.
Also, those servers probably use custom plugins.

 

Another thing worth mentioning is that many of the enchantments don't work properly when you use a game-breakingly high level. 20 may work, but 1000 is doubtful.

 

@spy_1134 That's actually not true. You're thinking of potion effects. Enchantments work all the way up to Integer.MAX_VALUE.
