IntelliJ is a more complicated IDE, and setting up modules (Eclipse's "project") can be confusing if you don't know what you are doing, so I set up an easy-to-follow tutorial on how to do this!
I wouldn't call IntelliJ more complicated than any other, in fact it has built in git and maven support! The only big deal I see complication in intellij is exporting which is easy once you get it once.
