RedstoneChips is such a cool plugin, but my big problem with it is that due to the fact the circuits can't receive power from the top of the block, it makes it so the chips are difficult to hide if you want to. The reason for this is apparent, there's no way to get a redstone current to go straight down. Oh, it'll go down one block, but for it to go down further, diagonally, there needs to be an adjacent block in that direction that is unobstructed. Such a pain. I was thinking how simple it would be if someone made it to where there's a block that takes a current from its top and continues it out its bottom. If anyone is able to do that I'd love to see it, it would make working with redstone so much easier.
have you looked up the 1x2 tower down for redstone http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Redstone_circuits look at the vertical transmission section
Yes, I have. It's deceptive, it requires an uncovered block as it travels diagonally downward, otherwise it turns into a repeater.
